The following is a summary of the general provisions of Advanced Calibration Designs, Inc.'s (ACD) Terms and Conditions for On-Line Sale. 

Any placement of an order through this website constitutes the customer's full acceptance of and agreement to all of the Terms and Conditions as outlined on this website.

Prices are subject to change without advanced notice.

Minimum billing is $50.00 per order.  Any order under $50.00 will be charged an additional $10.00 handling fee.

Claims for shortages or shipping errors must be made within 30 days of shipment.

Purchases made through this website are for shipping and distribution to end users located in the United States of America only.  No items purchased through this on-line store may be exported for any reason.  If you wish to place an international order, please contact our customer service department at (520) 290-2855 or contact our international distributor in your area.  You can follow this link to see all of our international distributors and representatives.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Payment is to be made by credit card (VISA, Master Card, American Express) at the time the order is placed in U.S. dollars. Please Note: Your credit card will be charged immediately upon placement of order. This often means that your order will be charged before it ships out. This is a feature of our shopping cart program which ensures security of your financial information and promptness in the processing of your order.

DELIVERY AND SHIPPING

F.O.B. point is Advanced Calibration Designs, Inc., 2024 W. McMillan Street, Tucson, Arizona 85705 U.S.A.

All orders will be shipped via Federal Express. Please give us your desired shipping address when placing an order. A physical street address is required for all shipments. We make every effort to ship orders within 1 to 2 business days after the order is received. Business days do not include weekends or holidays. We normally ship using FedEx Ground service with an expected delivery within the 48 contiguous United States of 2-5 business days. The first day in this calculation is the next business day after the package is picked up. 

Items purchased through this online store may be shipped to addresses in the United States only.

If any item in your order is damaged during shipment, it is the customer's responsibility to notify Advanced Calibration Designs, Inc. by telephone or e-mail within 10 days of the receipt of the order. Arrangements will be made for repair or replacement of the damaged item as per our Standard Warranty listed below.

In case incorrect shipping information is submitted for an order by the customer, it is the customer's responsibility to contact Advanced Calibration Designs with the correct shipping information before shipment of the order. If the address information provided by the customer is incorrect in any way, the customer takes full responsibility for recovery of said shipment. Any expenses incurred by Advanced Calibration Designs resulting from incorrect shipping information may be charged to the customer after notification to the customer of said expenses. If an order should be shipped to an incorrect address for any reason, Advanced Calibration Designs will provide all reasonable help to locate and properly deliver the order.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Orders may be cancelled at any time prior to shipping, with a full refund given under most conditions. Once the order has shipped the order is considered complete and final.  Please see our Refund Policy below for complete details.

REFUND POLICY

All purchases made from the Advanced Calibration Designs, Inc. On-Line Store are considered to be final.

In certain circumstances, returns for credit may be accepted but only with prior approval, and subject to a minimum 25% restocking charge.  The restocking charge will not be less than $50.00.  Electrochemical generating cells and batteries are not returnable for credit, except by special arrangement.

RETURN POLICY

Returns for repairs or service (e.g. recalibration) must be accompanied by an ACD Return Authorization (RA) number.  Please call our customer service department at (520) 290-2855 to obtain an RA number.  You will need to provide the instrument model number, type of gas generated, serial number along with a description of the problem or required service.

Instruments returned to ACD, but that are found to have no defect, other than a regularly replaceable, expendable part, will be subject to a one hour minimum labor charge, even if the defective parts are deemed to be within warranty, since installation of such parts is deemed to be within the user's capability and responsibility.  Instruments returned for repair, whether under warranty or not, will be subject to a minimum labor charge if no explanation or reason for return is provided.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

Warranty is automatically allowed on products returned with an RA in good physical condition within their warranty period, and which, by our tests, are found to be defective.  Please see Standard Warranty and Supplemental Warranty (below) for full details.

Unless warranty is claimed at the time of return, allowance of warranty is solely at the discretion of ACD.  ACD will automatically allow warranty, whether claimed  or not, on instruments or components which, in ACD's judgement, have failed under warranty.  No retroactive warranty claims will be allowed.
 
 

We warrant gas calibration equipment manufactured and sold by us to be free from defects in materials, workmanship and performance for a period of one year from the date of shipment.  Any parts found defective within that period will be repaired or replaced, at our option, free of charge, F.O.B. factory.  This warranty does not apply to those items which by their nature are subject to deterioration or consumption in normal service, and which must be cleaned, repaired, or replaced on a routine basis.

Such items may include:

• Electrochemical type generating cells
• Quick Check Vials (QCV)
• Batteries
• Fuses
• Air Filters

Advanced Calibration Designs, Inc's obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing or replacing, and returning any product which shall be returned to Advanced Calibration Designs, Inc. at its manufacturing facilities, with transportation charges prepaid, and which Advanced Calibration Designs, Inc.'s Material Review Board examination shall disclose to its satisfaction to have been defective.

This warranty is expressed in lieu of any and all other warranties and representations, expressed or implied, and all other obligations or liabilities on the part of Advanced Calibration Designs, Inc. including, but not limited to, the warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.  In no event shall Advanced Calibration Designs, Inc. be liable for direct, incidental or consequential loss or damage of any kind connected with the use of its products or failure of its products to function or operate properly.
